INformed, INvolved, and IN THE SPOTLIGHT

WHAT: Carried the Indiana Bicentennial Torch in celebration of Indiana’s 200th Birthday on her Quarab horse “Champ”.

WHERE: 85th Annual Dekalb County Free Fall Fair.

WHEN: October 1, 2016

BIGGEST CHALLENGE: Trying to ride and keep her horse “Champ” focused with the Police lights being on and the people on the side of the road.

GREATEST EXPERIENCE: Being selected to carry the torch and having the experience that many people don’t ever get.

NOW WHAT: She has been a 4H member for 7 years volunteering with children in 4H and helping people in the community by cleaning out barns and working on fences. She wants to continue helping by staying in 4H even after high school and coming back as a group member or leader.
