INformed, INvolved, and IN THE SPOTLIGHT

WHO: Ethan Wood, Freshman, 14; Victoria Wood, Junior, 16; Madison Yoder, Senior, 18

WHAT: Fort Wayne Philharmonic Youth Symphony Orchestra

WHERE: Fort Wayne Rhinehart Music Center, IPFW

WHEN: Last performance took place on Sunday, October 30th. Next performance will be during the “Nights of Lights” festival at the Grand Wayne Center on November 23rd.

SO WHAT: Students get to perform once with the FW Philharmonic Orchestra, in addition to a handful of performances taking place throughout year.

BIGGEST CHALLENGE: Madison Yoder, "Auditioning, lack of preparation."  Ethan Wood, "the anticipation of getting a call back to hear if we were selected."

NOW WHAT: Students have the opportunity for potential scholarships as well as future music employment opportunities.
