World Book Online Encyclopedia

The World Book Encyclopedia is online- only better.  It is updated monthly and/or daily. This is paid for by the school corporation- please use it! This is available on all school computers. You can also access this from home, but you will need to use the following username/password combination: dekalb/blazers. View the individual resources below!

Media Center Philosophy

  1. All students at Eastside High School shall have provided for them a library materials center (Media Center) that will encourage and aid them to grow intellectually, socially and emotionally.
  2. The Media Center shall adhere to the philosophy and policies of Eastside High School.
  3. The Media Center shall provide an atmosphere conducive to research, learning and reading.
  4. Reading shall strongly be encouraged for both class assignments and leisure time.
  5. The Media Center shall encourage all students to achieve their potential.
  6. The Media Center and its staff shall provide services to the students, faculty, administration, school staff, parents and community.

Media Center Guidelines

There are seven written general guidelines for students to follow and additional computer use guidelines. It is each student's responsibility to know what they are. Please see copies of the guidelines in the Media Center.
