My post-high school education began in 1984 at Franklin College in Franklin, Indiana.  I transferred to Huntington College in Huntington, Indiana in 1985.  I received my Bachelor of Science degree in 1989 in my major Physical Education with a certification in coaching.

In the fall of 1989, I started my career at Eastside Jr. /Sr. High School.  For three years, I was a study hall supervisor.   For the next 6 years, I was a Physical Education teacher.  In 1999, I started my current position as Assistant Principal/Athletic Director.  I received my master’s degree in secondary school administration and supervision in 2001.  While at Eastside, I have coached many different sports in including Cross Country, Junior High Football, Junior High Basketball, Junior Varsity Softball, Varsity Basketball and I am in my twentieth season as the Varsity Softball. 

My coaching accomplishments include winning a sectional in 1992-93 in Boys Basketball.  In softball, we have won the NECC regular season twelve (12) times, NECC tourney eleven (11) times, Sectional eleven (11) times, Region five (5) times.  My softball teams have advanced to the state final four in 2001 and 2004.  We won the state tourney in softball in Class A in 1998.

I am currently the President of the NECC conference.  I am a member of professional organizations associated with athletic administration and coaching:  IIAAA and NIAAA, ICGSA.
