8th Grade Parent Meeting (HS Schedule Planning)

Hello 8th Grade Parents,
I know it seems early but it is time to start planning for your child to enter high school next year. The transition to high school is a big one as your child will start working to complete one of Indiana's three main diplomas as well as starting to prepare for a future career. Matt Dazey and I, the high school counselors, would like to start this planning process with your child. As these are big decisions in the lives of your children, we need your input and help.

We will be going into your child's English classroom on Monday next week to share all of the information on diplomas, four-year plans, and high school credits. Then on Thursday, Jan 18th at 6:00 pm in the Cabaret Theater, we will host a parent meeting to share the same information with you all.

Then starting that Friday, Mr. Dazey and I will be hosting 15 min individual meetings with you and your child to pick their diploma, create their four-year plan, and schedule for freshman year.
